Sr Consultant, CASS Asset Management
Knowledge/Skills:
• Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines
• Applies best practices and how own area integrates with others
• Is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
• Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
• Multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge with functional expertise having working for an Asset Management firm; specific knowledge of fixed income processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation, stakeholder and senior executive reporting.
• Ability to multi-task, quickly assess issues, propose solutions and convey CASS requirements in a simple way in a fast paced environment across a wide range of stakeholders (from 1st line teams to C suite/Board members).
• Proven relationship building skills with the ability to quickly gain trust and manage stakeholders effectively both internally and externally.
• Strong analytical skills with the confidence to raise issues promptly and timely.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
Experience:
• Banking experience preferably with a sound knowledge of CASS Rules, specifically CASS 7 Client Money Rules and CASS 8 Mandate Rules.
• Experience working on CASS related controls; incident investigation, process enhancement
