Skills/Experience Required

 

The candidate must have the following skills and experience:

• In depth experience in secured and unsecured lending and problem loan workouts;
• Extensive experience negotiating and familiarity with different types of contracts;
• Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the organization and provide legal advice and counsel on a wide range of banking and other matters;
• Ability to conduct in depth legal analysis and provide practical, solutions-oriented advice;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively within teams both within the Legal Department and with business partners;
• Interested and enthusiastic about getting involved in other emerging legal and/or regulatory issues.

 

Experience Required

 

Candidates should have 7+ years of experience working in a major law firm or in-house practice in relevant areas.
