Experience: • 10+ years of Industry experience including


o At least 8 years of Release Management function- Must Have

o Minimum 5 years of release automation and deployment- Preferred

o Preferred working experience with Banks or financial domain experience

o Understanding of release audit, compliance process, tools

o Minimum 2 years of working within Devops and Agile teams

• Smoke test experience is a plus Required Skills:

• Substantial and demonstrable senior project management related experience

• Understanding of release governance concepts, lifecycle and methodologies; able to refine approach based on processes

• Ability to ‘champion’ release management value proposition and articulate ‘big-picture’ benefit realization

• Proven experience of managing and deploying application code to all the environments

• Expertize in release planning and management for a portfolio

• Expertize on identifying, implementing and reporting right gating criteria and KPIs for release management

• Strong expertise in the domain area of the Business Unit

• Proven experience with SDLC and Agile practices

• Experience in agile development methodologies with continuous integration

• Strong organizational skills, ability to track multiple releases simultaneously

Experience working closely with development, QA and business teams to communicate problem impacts

• Experience in change management and configuration management process


- Expert level understanding of ITIL framework / ITIL V3 certification preferred.
- Expertise in Change, Release, Problem , Configuration (CMDB) and Incident Management (Interdependencies between these modules/processes)
- Expertise in Service  Now or equivalent Service management systems
- Working knowledge of Capital markets  (Corporate & Institutional Services is a plus)
- Working knowledge of Agile practices and its impacts to Change and release management (CI/CD)
