The successful candidate will have  
  • At least 4 years of experience advising wealthy clients in the areas of charitable giving strategies and philanthropy. 
  • At least 4 years of experience working with individuals and families in the areas of estate planning and wealth transfer planning in a client service role or in a planned giving leadership position with a nonprofit organization(s). 
  • In-depth knowledge of subject and commitment to ongoing augmentation of expertise. 
  • Relationship management skills required to assist and advise individuals and families regarding philanthropic strategies and best practices, planned giving, private foundation administration and succession planning.
  • Analytic and organizations skills required to research and resolve inquiries and to coordinate and manage conflicting priorities, multiple projects and significant and varied workflow. 
  • Strong writing and presentation skills required for client presentations, internal training and to support the development of marketing and sales materials for existing and prospective clients. 
  • Leadership skills, specifically meeting facilitation and conflict resolution, required to identify client goals and objectives, address client needs respond to inquiries from internal partners and manage special projects Interpersonal skills required to work collaboratively with high net worth individuals and families (clients), internal partners, professional advisors, including estate planning attorneys, accountants and investment managers. 
  • JD designation is highly preferred. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
