Associate Accountant - Finance/Fees
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelors in Accounting required, Public Accounting and/or CPA preferred
• 1 or more years of corporate accounting/general ledger experience
• Ability to apply Intermediate knowledge of accounting principles and related concepts, including revenue recognition, accounts receivable and variance analysis
• Strong analytical abilities
• Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that demonstrate the ability to adapt to various audiences/constituencies
• Self-motivated, self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and demanding environment with a flexible approach towards changing work methods, deadlines and variable workloads
• Ability to take initiative to continually improve efficiency and processes; work independently and as a team member
• Ability to work under pressure and to deliver to tight deadlines; multi-task and prioritize work
• Ability to adapt and react positively in a changing and dynamic environment
• Takes initiative in completing tasks accurately and timely
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications skills, experience with PeopleSoft a plus
