Skills/ Qualifications:

The successful candidate will benefit from having: 

•    Experience in a banking / custody operations environment is beneficial but not essential 
•    A basic understanding of Settlements / Securities Lending would be beneficial.  
•    Experience in Securities Finance / Securities Lending Operations advantageous.  
•    Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.  
•    Able to work to set deadlines, escalating issues where necessary.  
•    Ability to grasp new concepts quickly.  
•    Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.  This role requires the ability to deal confidently and articulately with external counterparties.
•    Ability to grasp new concepts quickly.  
•    An eye for accuracy with strong attention to detail.
•    Good questioning skills to determine nature of a problem and assess implications.  
•    Able to work in a changing environment, recognise opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions.
•    Good PC skills, in particular, Excel.
