Qualifications:
Our ten-week summer internship program focuses on hiring rising senior undergraduate students who meet most or all of the following:

  •  Current full-time undergraduate student with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Active communicator with leadership, teamwork and client servicing ability
  • Analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable with ability to learn quickly in high-pressure environments
  • Well-rounded with an appreciation of diversity and inclusion
  • Knowledge of and interest in the financial services industry

Application
There will be 3 stages of the application process. Upon completion of all steps, our recruiters will work with selected candidates on identifying the best role for them.

 

  1. Online application - Create a profile and upload your resume.  If your online application is successful you will be invited to step #2.

  2. On-demand video interview - This is an opportunity to tell us more about you and your career goals, how you work and why you are interested in working for Northern Trust. (You will receive an email with the subject "Northern Trust 2019 Intern Program invitation.")

  3. Career eNTry assessment – Applicants are given scenarios typically experienced at Northern Trust and asked how they would respond. (You will receive an email with the subject "Northern Trust – Candidate Assessment invitation.")

  

Throughout this process you will learn more about life as an entry level hire at Northern Trust, and we will understand your fit as a candidate for our roles and company.
